My role is a liaison between the patient and doctor. I believe that if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life. The best part of my job is getting to know our patients on a more personal level. When you learn more about the patient it helps you be able to know how to help them with any issue they may have. Over the years patients that I have come in contact with have become my friend also.
I started working in the eye field in 1990 and have worked in the field all except a couple of years I took off the be with my children. I have been blessed to have been able to meet people from all walks of life. I can only hope I was a blessing to them as much they have been to me.
I am married to David Toney, a specialist at Home Depot, and has two children that I am extremely proud of being their mother. Tripp is 25 and a lineman at Ole Miss and Gracie is 20 and a nursing student at NorthWest. If you want to see me grin ask about my pride and joy, Avery Monroe, her granddaughter that is a year old. They are all members of Pine Lake Church in Oxford.
